SW: How often do you use ShiftWise?
TotalMed: We use ShiftWise on a daily basis, to view open job requisitions in various regions.
SW: What was your staffing experience like prior to ShiftWise?
TotalMed: Prior to working with ShiftWise we had little success in staffing healthcare professionals. Since implementing ShiftWise we have more visibility in job requisitions, and have increased our company’s submittal rates dramatically to numerous healthcare systems.
SW: How has ShiftWise helped to streamline your staffing process?
TotalMed: We enjoy working with ShiftWise because it is very user friendly; we can access all job postings, find bill rates, submit candidates to jobs, and take care of credentialing and billing duties all within one system.
SW: TotalMed Staffing, Inc. has been having a huge year! Month after month you seem to be booking more orders and hours. What’s been the biggest factor driving that increase?
TotalMed: We started as a small healthcare staffing firm in 2005, and since have grown into a top 10 travel nursing company in just 10 years of business. We have been constantly expanding into new national markets, and the main reasons we continue to submit to more and more positions monthly, is due to the increase in facilities we work with using the ShiftWise system.
SW: Are the candidates that are filling your shifts getting positive reviews?
TotalMed: We take pride in being an extremely well respected staffing company throughout the healthcare industry, and provide the highest quality supplemental healthcare staff in the industry. We consistently receive outstanding performance evaluations regarding our travelers.
SW: As 2015 progresses how do you plan to continue with this upward trajectory?
TotalMed: We have positioned our organization in such a way that our recruitment team has expanded to meet the needs of the market demands. We are also continuing to expand our regional market territories, in order to find new businesses to provided supplement staff to. With the growth of our recruitment team, as well as the addition of new facilities to staff, we anticipate a vast amount of submissions via ShiftWise for the foreseeable future.
SW: What is your favorite feature within the ShiftWise application?
TotalMed: Personally I enjoy the ease of use pertaining to searching for job postings, you can easily filter the openings by state and health system in order to locate positions very quickly.
SW: What would you say to a supplier who is considering using ShiftWise?
