Vice President of Product
Mark is the Vice President of Product. Mark Ludwin began his professional healthcare career in 2001, spending eighteen months as a national accounts manager for Aureus Medical, a temporary healthcare staffing company. Realizing that there were many cost deficiencies in the current hospital staffing model, Mark set out to co-found Medefis, Inc., a healthcare staffing vendor management firm- the first of its kind in the industry. In 2009, Welsh Carson Anderson and Stowe, the nation’s leading healthcare venture capital group with over $22B in assets under management, purchased Medefis. After serving as president-in-transition for one year under Welsh Carson, Mark left to pursue a partnership in the group deal space. He grew Deal Garden, a daily deal site, to 8 markets in just over 12 months. Mark decided to once again pursue healthcare opportunities, and thus, in 2012, sold Deal Garden to Crowd Savings, a national leader in the Daily Deal space. Mark recently co-founded Remote Health Access, a telemedicine company focused on providing psychiatric services to remote and rural venues via secure videoconference. Mark has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Creighton University. He currently resides in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wife and two boys.
