ShiftWise is in the process of upgrading our data center. There are key changes that your organization will need to be aware of in order to ensure no disruption of service during the transition. Please contact your IT Department (or IT Service Vendor) to determine whether these changes will impact your access to ShiftWise applications.

What is changing?

All web sites, services, and notification emails are currently sourced from the following IP addresses:

  • IP 1: 207.189.109.160/27
  • IP 2: 207.189.107.1/28

The following new IP addresses will need to be added:

  • Email Server: 209.234.199.138
  • Web Servers: 209.234.199.135 – 139 & 209.234.199.159
  • New Range: 209.234.199.0/24

NOTE:  OLD rules should not be removed until after cutover date. The cutover is projected to happen during the second half of September.

When will this change occur?

We expect these changes to happen during the second half of September.

What happens if my organization doesn’t update our IP addresses?

If your systems have been configured to specifically target any of the existing IP addresses, your IT Department (or IT Service Vendor) will need to update those systems to refer to the new IP range shown above. This change could potentially impact various networking systems including the following:

  • Firewall Rules
  • Web Filters / Proxies
  • Email Server / White Lists / Spam Filters
  • API Calls
  • Any Other Appliance that Controls Internet Traffic

If the above updates are not made you will experience a disruption of ShiftWise services.

When should my organization make these updates to the IP addresses?

We suggest organizations make these updates by September 15th. Work with your IT Department (or IT Service Vendor) to plan on when to make updates at your organization.
