ShiftWise user Rob Horton takes us inside his job and tell us what it’s like using the vendor management software.
SW: Why did you decide to use ShiftWise?
Rob: Our company originally started using it to fill orders for the bigger hospitals since ShiftWise was their choice of software for staffing. I was already familiar with ShiftWise since I had already used it at my previous place of employment.
SW: How user friendly is ShiftWise?
Rob: It’s a little intimidating at first. But once you get it in there and go through the process everything starts to flow and it becomes a very smooth process.
SW:How does the software make your job easier?
Rob: The real time updates are a game changer. When positions open up we receive an email as soon as the order is created. The updates make it real easy to get our candidates submitted fast and first.
SW: How does ShiftWise give your company an advantage in the staffing industry?
Rob: The vendor neutrality is the key to that advantage. We’ve been using the software less than two years and we have the same opportunity as companies who have been using Shiftwise longer than us. We submit quality candidates and they get a fair chance at being chosen for the order. Most other contingent staffing software does not offer that option.
SW: What’s your favorite feature?
Rob: I’m going to have to say the order match feature is my number one feature. It speeds up our order placement and really helps us stay on top of any new orders.
SW: Time for the difficult question! Where is your all time favorite vacation destination?
Rob: That’s easy. Manitoulin Island in Ontario Canada
